LADDER: Re-granting scheme - Call for proposal open
Are you willing or intending to develop and implement a grass root level project on development education, awareness raising and engagement for development?
The re-granting scheme of the project LADDER is now open for 2016.
Eligible countries for this call are: Spain, Sweden, Germany, Estonia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Netherlands, Romania, Luxembourg.

The project “LADDER – Local Authorities as Drivers for Development Education and Raising awareness” started in January 2015 and will be running until December 2017 (36-month duration), including 46 organisations across 35 countries, coordinated by ALDA.

The “local actor approach” to participation is acknowledged by the EP
In the study New Role of Macro-Regions in European Territorial Cooperation (published 2015) the European Parliament points to the local actors approach as element of the participative governance structure.
