Danube dialogues contemporary art festival

Bel Art Gallery´s (belart.rs) latest project is Danube dialogues contemporary art festival started as pilot project in 2011. New edition gathers more than 100 artists and curators from 14 countries of the Danube macro region (danubeartfest.org).

In the DANUBE REGION, the opportunities for joint development and intensified co-operation are wide-ranging: be it more energy security through better networks, improved water quality or enhanced competitiveness through technology transfer. The EU Strategy for the Danube Region makes a better Europe a reality, in a region still marked by varying degrees of political and economic integration. We must now make sure that initiatives and projects are sustainable with clear funding through to 2020.

PARTICIPATION DAY IN THE DANUBE STRATEGY

The Participation Day will merge the events of the stakeholder meetings of the PA 9 and PA 10 of the EUSDR, with the closing conference of the Danube River Show Project
The Conference will enable with a new format the international civil society and local actors from the 14 EUSDR countries to meet, exchange views and perceptions among each other and to meet and discuss in-depth with EU and national decision makers.

2nd General Assembly of the Danube Civil Society Forum

After the foundation of the Danube Civil Society Forum, DCSF and Civil Society in the Danube Region will meet again in Ruse, BG 25 September 2013.
The DCSF will hold its second General Assembly on 25th September while the Priority Area 10 “To step up institutional capacity and cooperation” will hold working group (WG 2 Civil Society) meeting on the 26th September.

In collaboration with many partners from the Danube region the Collegium Hungaricum (the Hungarian Cultural Institute) encourages the foundation of a cultural cluster in the Danube area (Danube Cultural Cluster) within the framework of the Danube Strategy. This cluster is meant to serve as an umbrella organisation for future and already existing cultural clusters in the Danube area, as a centre for information and service for Danube clusters.
