Policy Coordinator and Project Manager at WWF Romania, Policy and Green Economy Department

Policy: Lobbying the Romanian government for allocating larger volumes of funds in more targeted fashion to measures in support of biodiversity conservation; representing WWF in Monitoring Committees and Working Groups on spending and programming EU funds; conducting training sessions on how to access EU funds for nature conservation objectives; advocacy activities towards EU decision makers; coordinates organization of regional policy workshops on policy analysis and recommendations; participates at relevant national and international meetings (e.g. EC or similar).

Project management: Manages Policy and Green Economy related projects according to WWF DCP standards, aligned to national and regional strategic plan; manages projects implementation and ensures communication with the partners; coordinates projects financial and technical reporting; drafts work plans in consultation with WWF project team members and WWF RO country manager and supports work planning of other partners; participates in and provide input within partner meetings, working groups and conferences; manages the projects activities timely as well as the quality delivery of outputs and results. Develop and support development of project proposals to ensure the achievement of the Policy and Green Economy objectives defined in the strategic plan (national and regional level).
